story time .. .

We switched roles tonight - I cleaned the kitchen - Dad did story time ...


I had to laugh at this point - they each had the own book !

a little bit country ...

and apple a day ....

the new word in our vocabulary - and new favorite snack - APPLE !

la la ...

C is OBSESSED - with Elmo right now .... or "la la " as Carter calls him (as he starts to dance and shake his head to the beat of Elmo's World) ... This shot made both Matt and I crack up.

Sesame Street happened to be on - little man crawled up on to the couch - scooted over to the pillows and pulled the blanket over him and got all comfy by HIMSELF to watch some TV!

Thanks to DVR - Elmo can be "on " whenever Mom and Dad need to get somethings done around the house without some extra hands...

And when Mom is out running errands - and the Masters happen to be on ( and Dad does not want to give up his TV ) - it seems DVDs also come in handy ...

easter in danbury ...

Next stop was Danbury- where are the eggs in these pics - i don't know ! C was happy to take Brett's 4 wheeler for a drive ....


took an "aqua" break with Daddy...

Hung out in the swing - again life is good ....

lost count of how many times we went up the steps to slide back down....

Ah yes proof there were eggs ! The nieces "convinced" Uncle Matt he needed to " take a rest" - and attacked!!

easter in spring ...

We has some practice runs at the house - so come the big day C would have some clue of what to do come all the egg hunts he was set to attend. First stop was in spring...

He had a great time - along with Daddy, Uncle Mike , Nana and PaPa....

Next stop was to help Nana plant her flowers ...

but really enjoyed getting to hang out in the swing when his gardening skills were not needed... oh the life !

3 day weekends ...

With both of us having Friday off - we decided to take C to one of Dad's favorite places ... Specs!
