And finally - we are up to date ...

Yes I realize most of the pics revolve around C eating. By the time we get home from work - our schedule is pretty much dinner, bath then bed. Our week nights are very short with each other. So we try to make the most of each night ( and just ignore the amount of the food on the floor too!). And right now C is into feeding himself everything. Dinner earlier this week was one of his favs - Pasta!

Bon Appetit !

Our love of hats...

Figure at this age - he can still wear his hat at the table....

Stud Muffin

This picture just makes me smile... this is Carter's typical attire - no shirt bc it is usually filthy and one his Dad's hats - and he is happy boy.

the spoon

I know this will be shocking new to those reading this - our son is headstrong. I'm really not sure where he got that trait ... Carter has been demanding the spoon - he wants to do it himself.
And I have to say he is making progress...
And of course the hand always works too...

Just Chillin....

So on the nights C has dinner before us - he joins us at the table for some "family time". He was all about comfort the other night...

Figured if he threw me some kisses - he might not get yelled at for having his feet on the table ...

And was all about chillin' and catching up on the day with Mom and Dad!

Afternoon of Giggles

Carter was so excited to be sitting up on the furniture like a "big boy " . We hung out in the recliner for a bit ...

Then we decided to attack Dad on the couch...

There is no time for naps in this household ...

Rolled around on the floor for a bit ...

And then decided that we really like hanging out on the recliner.

And yes there was a Christmas #5 ....

We celebrated Christmas with Matt's parents after the new year. There really was no reason for toys, Carter was happy just tearing the paper into smaller pieces...
But then he spots Whinnie the Pooh and after taking Uncle Mike's hat ( really his favorite toy) decided to cruz around the house ...

The pig had him in giggles...

And Snoopy had him dancing ...

And he spent some time talking to Santa - making sure he was on the NICE list next yr too....

Our little man - is well starting to look like a little man !

After a night out on the town - and devouring our favorite food ( Pizza for those who do not know- or Peezzzzza and C says )....

C was all about showing off his fashion sense ( do you see a little bit of his father's influence ??? ) ...

And wanted to pick up his nightly ball game with Dad....

But in the end had more fun showing Mom how he liked to play "peek a boo" ... ( and Mom LOVED it ! )

a little too much orange ...

So when the big game came up - Dad had to get little man all decked out. It was close to bed time but C was all about supporting the team ( as long as it did not interfere with his night cap).

He was wishing his brother could be here too - so he carried his picture around most of the night ...

Mostly he enjoyed sporting Dad's cap with his footprints on it from the day he was born...

And when the game came on - well C was asleep - but Dad got to dress him in all orange for the night...

talking with the hands...

At school C has been learning sign language. And I have to say I never thought it would be as helpful as it has become in our household. Not surprising most of the signs we all 3 know revolve around food - or how to get MORE food. This is C signing for "more"

The boy LOVES some Mac N Cheese !

It has been awhile .....

Yes it has been awhile - and yes we were busy ... we FINALLY went and got our first pair of shoes...

We worked in some snuggle time with our favorite puppy (stuffed of course) ....

Rode our rocking horse....

Experimented with the spoon - and realized we could eat oatmeal with our hands still ....

And had some male bonding - watching football and showing off bellies ...
