day 3 of swim lessons ....

so how day 2 ( really 1 ) ended - both M and I were a little anxious on how C was going to react to lessons today ... especially when M was chatting with him in the car and he kept telling M how he was going to cry for Mr Dan and proceeded to demonstrate !

But no need to worry - both were excited by the time we got to the pool and C pretty much JUMPED into Mr Dan's arms!

this time telling him the colors on the ceiling in Spanish !

showing off his skills and no fear of face in the water ....

love the excitement on C's face - he finally realized HOW to kick his legs behind him! he kept telling me he was a big boy now bc he could kick !

trying to dive off of Mr Dan's legs -( with some instructions coming from Z on the sidelines ) which he did !

Z WANTING to swim underwater - which is just amazing after last years lessons !

and another round of shake the ring off = a very successful lesson!

( PLEASE EXCUSE THE BLURRINESS OF THE PICS - 1) SHOOTING THEM THRU A MIRRORED WINDOW ! 2) TOOK ME AWHILE TO REALIZE I HAD A LITTLE FINGER PRINT ACROSS THE LENSE ( NO CLUE HOW THAT COULD HAVE HAPPENED! )

2nd day of swim lessons...

after getting things worked out with the schedule we headed back up to have lessons with Mr Dan. We were both happy to have smiles out of Z this time around ...

we did have a moment, when they were working on breathing techniques ...

and well C - he cried 25 out of the 30 min session ... he was NOT a happy camper with me dropping him off and walking out !

the last 5 min Mr Dan was able to get C to relax a little and point out the colors on the ceiling...

throw in a little game of shake the ring off your head - and both boys left telling me they had fun ( C followed up with he was done - no more swimming ! )

1st day of swim lessons....

In the car on our way to swim lessons - that did not happen due an over scheduling issue.... but look how excited both kiddos were !

some weekend fun...

best summer investment we made....

our new sleeping spot ...

we moved C out of a crib a while back - and the transition has been a struggle for all 3 of us! The boy I use to leave in his crib awake at night knowing he would put himself to sleep when he was ready now wanted Mama or Daddy by his side till he feel asleep! Well that was not an option for nap time. C found a way to soothe himself - he would gather up his "friends " and go sleep at the door .

Now I hear him at night do the same , and I move him back to his bed before I go to sleep - and most mornings I find him again blocking his door .... starting to think why mess with him!
