fun in the sun...

Since the sun was out we figured we would spend some time outside enjoying it ... carter and dad had a new dance going on today ... little man kept getting a fit of the giggles....


some time was spent in the cave watching the cars go "vooooom" ....


we watched dad play a little bball...

took a little stroll around the neighborhood in our wagon....

and did our nightly routine with dad --- take all the balls out of the basket and throw them in the wagon...

(and mom got to play with her new camera with her two favorite men as her stars .... )

Dad found this was appropriate attire to wear for our play date with miss luci and miss mattie.... Dads be worn!

shhhhhh.....

Little man was under the weather earlier this week. Ran a fever for 3 days and slept a lot ( which everyone should realize is very, VERY odd for this fella! ) . I had to sneak in to capture a shot - something to document that every now and then the boy did sleep!

weekend update

We started our weekend off with some yummy yogurt - Mr Independent will not let anyone feed him.....


We learned a new word " apple " and enjoyed snacking on a few this weekend ....

We went to the park to enjoy the sunshine - and was a huge fan of the swing ....

We decided the best way - was to climb the slide ....

We worked on putting our socks on ( but really just enjoy pulling them off right after Mom or Dad puts them on.... )

We showed off our baby blues ( all the ladies love them !) .....

We watched a little hockey and cheered on the USA with Dad ....

We tried to see if we could hide under the ottoman when it came bed time ....

All in all it was a fun weekend of food ( surprising ) playing and hanging out at the house ( a rarity these days !)

Glad to find out Z is having some fun ....

a day at the zoo....

Since all 3 of us had the day off on Monday - we decided to head to the zoo. This was Carter's first time inside the petting zoo. He had a blast.

And we caught the giraffes at feeding time - which had C's attention. According to C every animal we saw goes " moooo " .

And we waved bye - bye until we feel asleep on the way home .....
