some nights....

well some nights we feel the need to be a super hero....

some nights we like to browse Dad's books ....

and who does not like reading about the roman empire -

always a great bed time story ...

some nights we like to roll around on the floor ...

and show off our flexibility...

a little camo ...

Ready for hunting season !!
( C just realized who Elmo is- and has no interest in anything else when he is on TV )

Mr. GQ .....

children's museum ...

so we took the kiddos to the children's museum ... nice thing about C and Brett being close in age - we got to go to the toddler tots area - and well the dads got the big kids downstairs in total chaos !

C and B play so well together - Kerri and I figure we will take them back again ( when school is NOT out ! )

the love of sports ...

i do not think i need to mention how much M loves sports - any sport really ... so if it takes playing the wii to get Z to say the word "sports" - he was all over it ...

it was very serious business...

and baseball was played - you know to get ready for little league ;} .....

and Z was very good - beating Dad multiple times ....

but before the night was over - Dad did get a little celebration - FINALLY winning ONE game !

earning some $$$ ...

so Z wanted a DS - but the rule in both IN and TX is you have to earn your $$$ for your extra toys... and well he showed up in TX a little short.... so we worked out a deal...we would do our normal chores ( make our bed - set the table - clean up the play room ) along with some extra chores around the house to make some extra cash.... I have to say the ones that kept C occupied were WELL worth it!

Like some good old fashion wrestling before bed to wear the little man out ...

and being a good big brother and allowing him to tackle too....

taking little man out for a jeep ride ....

and teaching C to throw up his hands and act like he was on a roller coaster...

taking a ride in the wagon to make sure C does not stand up...

so mom can have piece of mind ( our wagon is old -no seat belts - and well little man, has a mind of his own and NO fear !)

Not a bad way to earn a little extra $$$$....
