Road Warrior

If you have not figured it out .. Carter is a LITTLE bit of a Daddy's Boy. So this weekend when Dad was cleaning out the garage he needed to be right there with him. When he discovered his brother's big toys - he got a little excited.

So the wagon got dusted off and we went for a little stroll around the neighborhood.

But then we found the Jeep and the wagon was soon forgotten. OF COURSE we had to give it the once over Carter style.

And we had to try out every button and knob ... and he really wanted to get it on the road - to see what it could do....

but soon realized - his legs are a little too short.... So I have a feeling Carter will be hitting up his brother to take him cruzin' around the neighborhood as soon as he can...

Jumping Skills

I don't blame Little Man - I would be hiding my face too if that is the hat I had to wear..

and I understand his excitement when he finally got it off!

Now this one - just cracks me - yes Little Man has pretty much outgrown his saucer- but it comes in handy when we are outside. Well Little Man loves to jump in it and to make everything light up and all the sounds go off.... and as you can see - the fact that some of the toys swing - right as his head - does not bother him - he closes his eyes and jumps harder!

and then smiles and waits for the applause from his audience.

Morning Routine

Getting ready for school in the morning usually starts off with a lot of giggles ..
and a lot of laughs ...
and easily distracted when we think dad is outside ( which he was not ) but we searched and searched the house till we found him....

Grass

Today was such a nice day Mom and I decided we would keep Dad company while he was grilling up some burgers for dinner... What I was not aware of- Mom was going to make me sit on the green, scratchy stuff ( did she forget how I felt about the hay yesterday?!) ...

I was not a fan of having it touch my feet - so I kept my legs crossed...

And was not really happy since I seemed to be stuck in this position ( Dad did a great job on the lawn it was nice and thick still ....)

I tried to figure out how to get off of the green stuff - but was not really wanting to stand on it...

So I figured I would inspected it a little closer ...

Dad mentioned dinner would be ready soon - so I was happy I would not be stuck on this scratchy stuff too much longer ..

Then Mom let me sit in her lap - and I was in no hurry to go back inside - the green stuff was not that bad after all....

Halloween

Halloween was a busy day for us ... 1st we started out by trying some spaghetti for lunch ... yes I was double fisting - it was that good!

Then we headed to Aunt Kerri's to celebrate Mimi and PawPaw's birthday. Saw the nice blue shiny can that Dad never lets me have. I showed Mimi my baby blues and she let me have it. Wow now I know why Daddy likes it so much ;}.....

I asked Paw Paw if he was really going to let Mom take me out in public looking like a monkey -

but he assured me it would be a hit with all the ladies at the carnival- so I was all for it ...

How many pictures we took to get one where you could see everyone's face (even if we were all looking in different places ...) - I don't know ... but you have to admit we are good looking bunch...

But after awhile I realized sitting on dirty - scratchy straw was NOT my thing ...

and we let the Dean Family take a family pic ... ( how CUTE are they!! )

Paw- Paw and I went cruzin' and he was right - the ladies dig the monkey face ....

But really the best part of the night was playing with my tail...

and getting some lovin' from Dad at the end of the night, bc no one told me being this cute would be so exhausting !

Housebound

We were housebound this week - Little Man has been sick - I have to say we are lucky - even when sick Little Man is a pretty happy baby - he just sleeps more ( which is usually a tell tell sign for us that he is not feeling well - the boy does NOT like to nap).

We are on meds for the next two weeks - and have weekly checkups - but Little Man does not seem too worried about it all........
