Figured we would get a little practice in before baseball season started again....


C really wanted to get into the action - and wanted to know what position to play ...

Z's base running was too fast for Dad ...

And we were happy to find out our neighbors were nice enough to throw our balls back over the fence for us ...

Not one to miss out on anything - C wanted to get a little practice in too ....

what it takes to destroy a room....

1) Fuel ( cheerios work) - and surveillance of the area....


2) Quick ride around the perimeter - make sure no adults can interfere...

3) A little dance to commence the assault ...

4) wreck havoc as fast as you can...

5) a decoy - grab a book and look all innocent - so when asked you can say - who me ?

spirit week ...

yes this blog is a good week late - but better late than never right? Last week was spirit week at school and every day was a different attire. Monday started off with PJ's day- every parents dream - just pick your kid up and go! And I will be honest - this pic is not from Monday - bc that is exactly what i did picked C up out of the crib and walked out the door. But i figured i would include one from earlier in the week - M INSISTS on putting socks on C every night for bed - and C INSISTS on taking them off !

Tues - construction day - we made it work with a t- shirt with wrenches all over it !

Wed - Red , White and Blue day -- check out the pants !

Thurs - mis-matched day - I think the maroon and burnt orange says it all ( and i was secretly hoping C would have an accident at school all day ! ) Side note this is C getting upset before we left for school ( 6: 30 am ) bc I would not give him a cookie - a habit his daddy started!!

And Friday - red, black and white - school spirit day - but we skipped and hung out with mimi and paw paw instead!

We had to laugh - making dinner one night turn around and there is C - he had figured out how to put his drum on and thought it was the funniest thing to walk around the house and bang on it ( thanks aunt C and uncle LT ! )

Many many steps have been taken with our alligator....

And off to bed we go... .

man cave...

Little man likes to hang out in the garage - as soon as we pull into the garage he starts saying "ball" and gets upset if we don't take a few minutes to play outside. This is C signing "more" ---as if the five balls he already took out of the basket were not enough to play with !


Dad had him watching the Olympics with him outside. We learned the chant "USA USA " ... lets just say he got the beat down - if not the actual word.

And then it was time to come inside for a cookie break - C's fascination with hats - he wear one all day long ....
